Bryce's Birthday Video

We got a video of Bryce clapping and enjoying his Birthday cake!

Bryce's 1st Birthday!

Today was Bryce's 1st Birthday. One year ago today "little" Bryce was born 3 weeks early and still weighed 7lbs 8oz. We had a good, and pretty lazy, day today. We did go on a walk and had cake! Bryce hated the frosting. Most of you know he doesn't like to pick up anything slimy or sticky. He did like the cake though. Cayden said "This is a big day for me. I will remember it until I am 100". I think he is happy that Bryce is getting older! Bryce's big (and I mean it) gift was this activity station/bus. It is a hand-me-down from a neighbor. We are considering betting rid of a couch so that it fits in our house. I am just afraid that Jeff will start piling stuff on it!

I passed!

As many of you know I have been working on getting my Language Arts Endorsement so that I can teach English. I had to teach 180 hours of English in one year and pass two big (and expensive) tests! I found out early this week that I passed my second test. Yippee. It is quite a relief. Now, I just need to pay the State some more money and I get my piece of paper that says I'm officially qualified. Teaching English this year has been fun and challenging.

Nana's visit

My mom came to visit last weekend and we had a busy weekend going tubing and to the Warm Springs Museum on the Warm Springs Reservation. We also did all the normal stuff - shopping and eating. Here are some pictues of the visit!

Bryce's first Haircut

Here is Bryce's new haircut. The actually haircut picture is terrible. He wouldn't sit still and was chewing on his sock (he loves to do that). But, I did take a picture of him sitting still with his new cut. He looks like quite the little boy. I miss the waves and the curls but it was getting a little long.

Day at the tubing hill

On Sunday we all went up to Hoodoo Ski Resort and tried the Autobahn (the tube runs). I hijacked some passes over the weekend (ask Jeff about it). Austyn, Cayden, Grandpa, Jeff, and I got on tubes while Grandma hung out with Bryce at the bottom of the hill. The weather was fantastic and the runs were fast! Cayden would only go on a double tube. Austyn tried a single tube about halfway through and never went back. Half the time she didn't even want to wait for the rest of us. The only bummer of the whole day was on the way back to the car when Grandpa and Austyn fell on the ice. They are okay....

Who are those cute kids?
